There are 15 permanent residents living at the VA Hospital in Miles City. Because of the COVID-19 restrictions, these veterans are currently in their rooms and kept secluded from all others. The volunteers who normally visit with these veterans and take them outdoors and to run errands are currently not allowed in the facility. This has left our veterans feeling very alone, despite the best efforts of the very small staff.
Please consider taking the time to write 1 or 2 letters to these brave veterans who have served our country. Just imagine how happy they will be to receive a kind note from someone who cares about them and appreciates them.
The letters can be about anything: trips you have taken, trips you look forward to taking, a new car, a day of fishing, a hunting trip – anything at all. We only ask that you include a few words about your appreciation for their service.
